What SD cards are compatible with DJI Pocket 2 and Osmo Pocket?
DJI Pocket 2 and Osmo Pocket only support microSD cards that have a minimum write speed of over 30MB/s. If you already have an SD card, you need to make sure it meets the standard, otherwise, it won’t work with your DJI Pocket 2 or Osmo Pocket, and you will have compatibility issues especially when shooting 4K videos.

According to my experience, you should at least get 2 sd cards. Although one is enough for most situations, there are always awkward moments like you forget to insert your sd card back after transferring files, or the only one sd card is suddenly broken. So preparing an extra sd card will make sure you won’t have this trouble.

DJI Pocket 2 and Osmo Pocket SD Card FAQ, Problems and Troubleshooting
1. Do DJI Pocket 2 and Osmo pocket have an SD card?
No. Osmo Pocket doesn’t come with an sd card.
2. How do I format my DJI Pocket 2 or Osmo pocket SD card?
There are two ways you can use to format your Osmo Pocket SD cards.
#1 Format with Osmo Pocket
Power on your Osmo Pocket, then wipe down on the screen, you will be able to see the Setting icon, tap on it, and then scroll left, you will be able to see the storage option, tap on it, and you will see the Format option.
#2 Format with the DJI Mimo App
After you connect your Osmo Pocket with the DJI Mimo app, tap on the 3 dots at the bottom-left corner, then choose the General settings (the last on the left side), you can then find the Format SD Card option. Just tap on the Format button to proceed.
Though you can also use your computer to format the sd card, we still recommend you to do it via the 2 methods we listed here. We did see some cases that the sd card was not recognized after formating with a computer because of the wrong format.
3. How to install/insert DJI Pocket 2 and Osmo Pocket SD Card?
Both DJI Pocket 2 and Osmo Pocket SD card slot is on the left side, to install the sd card, you just need to hold your Osmo Pocket, and then insert the sd card in the slot until you hear the click sound. Make sure the side with the logo is facing down, just check the following picture if you don’t know how to do it.
